Updating a Record

Record Update Instructions

Follow these steps (See corresponding screen shots below):

  • Change the default “Topic Search” to “Keyword Search”
  • To obtain a list of all of your agencys’ programs, enter your agency name into the “Enter Your Keywords Below” field and hit the search button
  • Click on the program that you want to update (eg. Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership), scroll to the bottom and click on “Suggest Update”
  • Review all fields for accuracy and make any necessary changes need within the applicable field
  • Enter your information as the authorized submitter and include any other special instructions
  • Indicate what kind of change you have made

 

STEP 1:  Change the default “Topic Search” to “Keyword Search”

Note:  the home screen defaults to Windsor but there is a drop down “Location List” if you need to search another area (eg. Leamington)

STEP 2:  Enter your agency name into the “Enter Your Keywords Below” field and hit the search button

IMPORTANT:  After hitting the search, to get a list of just your agency’s programs, click on one of your programs from the list, and when that is open, click on “Agency” under the program name.

STEP 3:  Click on the program that you want to update (eg. Income Tax Completion Services), scroll to the bottom and click on “Suggest Update”

STEP 4:  Review all fields for accuracy and make any necessary changes need within the applicable field

Step 5:  Enter your information as the authorized submitter and include any other special instructions

Step 6:  Indicate what kind of change you have made and hit “Submit Update”

Note:  once the 211 Support Analyst makes the changes they are reflected on our 211southwest.ca website and the provincial 211ontario.ca website the next day

 

This is a complete update. I have reviewed all the information in this record and made the necessary corrections. This is usually done once per year on a scheduled due date
