Homelessness Initiative Program
- Description
To provide access to Supported Housing for individuals in recovery from a moderate to severe persistent mental illness, who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless.
The program works with participants who require intensive community supports to find and maintain independent permanent housing. We partner with private market landlords in the community, acting in a liaison capacity to assist our clients in providing access to affordable, modest, safe, and stable long-term housing.- Intensive mental health and life skills supports
- Assistance searching for, and access to, affordable and safe market based housing
- Landlord/tenant resolution and tenancy support
- Ongoing scalable supports to maintain independent housing in the community
